Request: Hello,could you do a Drew McIntyre surprise the reader who stayed on Raw on superstar shake up?
After my match, I hit the showers and got changed to head out for the night. During the shakeup I had no idea weather I would stay on Raw or move to Smackdown live. The thought of starting all over again had made me nervous. Making new friends. Adopting a new schedule. It was all so much work. When the I got the call that I would stay on the Raw roster, I couldn’t have been more thankful.
To celebrate, Drew had come down to Austin with me and we’d go out after my match.
The only problem was, Drew wasn’t answering his phone.
“Y/N,” One of the production assistants came up to me. “They’re asking for you down at the gorilla.”
“They’re asking for me?” I raised a brow but followed her towards it. “There was nothing else on my set list.”
“Yeah, there’s just been a last minute change.” She said vaguely.
Last minute changes happened often in the business. Whether someone got hurt or something ran longer or shorter than expected. Still, we were given a little more than detail than this.
The PA left me alone. Taking a second to fluff my hair, I waited for my next direction, peeking out through the curtain.
“Big crowd tonight, huh?”
“Yeah, it’s intense out there.” I replied, not paying attention before I turned around to see Drew in his ring attire.
“Oh My God!” I covered my mouth. “What’re you doing here?!”
He laughed, holding me as I up for a hug when I jumped into him.
“It looks like I have a match coming up.” He answered, returning my kiss.
“What?!” I yelled excitedly. “On Raw?! Since when!? When did you get cleared?!”
“Yes. Today. Last night.” He answered my questions before his theme music started playing.
“Oh my god! Be careful! Good luck!” I called out as he gave me a kiss and disappeared behind the curtain into the cheers of the stadium.
It had been so long since Drew was on Raw.. Since he was on my schedule again! My heart beat a million miles a minute as I ran into the back to get a good look at the monitor. I loved watching him wrestle. He had been killing it on NXT, it was no wonder they wanted him to come back to Raw.
God and we’d finally be together like a regular couple. We’d only see each other maybe once a week while he was on NXT and now he’d be mine full time again.
