13 Reasons Why

Jeff Atkins – Request 4

Request: If you’re still taking requests could you do a Jeff Atkins imagine based off the scene in 13RW S2 ep 7 were there having the get together and you’re Jeffs gf? Thank you!

“Here.” You texted Jeff as you parked the car in his driveway.

Throwing your purse over your shoulder, you stepped out of the car, grabbing the canvas tote bag full of party snacks from the backseat, throwing it over your other shoulder, then grabbing the pizza boxes from the other side and walking up the front stairs. Jeff opened the door, his face immediately breaking out in a smile.

“Damn, Mama Y/N never disappoints.” He laughed, taking the pizza boxes out of your hands. “You didn’t have to babe. I had a bag of chips in the kitchen somewhere.”

You lifted up on your toes to kiss him, laughing as you followed him to the kitchen to put down your bags. “A bag of chips in the kitchen somewhere aka my mom bought a bag sometime last week, they might be stale but they’ll do.”

“Well they will!” he laughed, unloading the tote bag as you walked around his kitchen to pull some bowls for all the different chips and snacks you’d gotten.

“You even brought the solo cups.” He smiled, “Seriously, such a mom.”

You laughed, shrugging your shoulders. “Listen, I care! Okay!” You giggled, as he came up behind you, kissing the back of your neck as you set out all the food.

“I know you do, beautiful. I love that about you.” He replied, nipping at your shoulder.

You bit your lip, turning around in his arms, wrapping your around his neck as you got up on your tip toes to kiss him. “Well I’ve got you beat. I love everything about you.”

He growled under his throat, half laughing as he squeezed my ass, pulling me closer to his groan before someone cleared their throat.

You peeked over Jeff’s shoulder to see Clay awkwardly coming through the kitchen doorway. He gave a half-smile, raising his hand in a wave.

“Oh! Hey hun.” You smiled, walking over to give him a quick hug. “I didn’t know anybody was here yet.”

“I was just havin’ a talk with Clay over here, telling him he’s gotta loosen up a bit.” Jeff answered for Clay.

“He says I overthink things.” Clay said, returning my hug. “I don’t think I do…”

I laughed, handing him a bag of chips for him to open into a bowl. “Oh my god. You ABSOLUTELY do. You overthink everything. Almost to the point where you don’t try anything because you spend all your time thinking about it rather than doing it.”

Jeff laughed, giving him and ‘I told you so’ look.

“Gee, thanks Y/N. Thank you both for that dull overview of my life.” He replied sarcastically.

Jeff and I laughed as Jeff put a case of water in the fridge.

“We’re just looking out for you Jensen.” I replied. “How are you going to enjoy your teenage years if you’re always thinking like a 40 year old mom. Just relax. Let loose. Have fun tonight. You don’t have to do anything you don’t want.”

“She’s better with words than you.” He looked at Jeff with a laugh.

Jeff laughed, looking down at me and giving me a wink. “She’s better than me at a lot of things.”

“Like planning for a get together.” I replied laughing.

“This is so peer pressure. Like, at its worst.” Clay sighed as we each took one of the pills that Jeff had passed around.

“It’s not peer pressure. You don’t have to do it, but you’re gonna love it once you do.” I tried to explain.

“So it’s addicting?” He asked, raising his brows.

“Jenson will you just take the damn pill?” Jeff laughed, taking his.

“Fine.” He gave in, staring at it for a moment longer before putting it in his mouth.

We chuckled, watching him down the bottle of water. Sherri sat on the couch with Hannah and Clay while Alex sat on the loveseat across from them. Jeff laid on my lap while we sat on the floor, his arm lying lazily over my legs.

It wasn’t often that we resorted to drugs, both of us were extremely health conscious, ate healthy 6 out of seven days and only drank on weekends, but with things like finals, playoffs, stress, fights, we needed a little help to really unwind and let everything go.

It’d be good for Hannah and Clay to get a feel of that too. If they’d just stop overanalyzing everything for one fucking second they could see how perfect they were for each other.

I leaned back against the living tv stand, running my fingers through Jeff’s hair. My body relaxed into itself and I could feel the weight of daily life melting off my shoulders into a see of Euphoria. Judging by the look on everyone else’s faces, they were too.

“So how long’s it been since you guys started dating?” Hannah asked, her hand on the ground, pinky slowly lacing with Clay’s.

“1 year and 5 months.” Jeff answered proudly, his face lighting up as he looked up at me. “Best thing that’s ever happened to me.”

“That is SO cute.” She replied, unable to stop giggling in between words. “I haven’t been here to long but I feel like you guys have been together like 10 years. At least that’s how you act!”

We laughed, the high making it everything funnier than it actually was.

“Seriously.” Sheri chimed in. “You should’ve seen them before they started dating officially. It was 10 times worse than this in terms of shameless flirting.”

“Yeah?” Hannah laughed.

“Yeah.” Alex nodded, “They weren’t even official and you’d always find them together at parties, either lost in their world or running off somewhere to suck face.”

Clay laughed and nodded his agreement. We could tell he was starting to enjoy himself, despite his initial hesitation.

“I thought we were a little more slick than that but everyone in our friend group new we liked each other so there wasn’t much of a need.” I laughed, lowering my head to kiss Jeff.

He placed his hand on the back of my neck, making the kiss linger for a while, my tongue gliding along his bottom lip before I pulled away.

“Friend groups are so complicated.” Alex sighed, leaning back in to the couch.

“See, the thing is to be in the group, but not about the group.” Jeff replied. “Y’know what I mean?”

“No.” Sheri laughed, “What do you mean?”

“Alright – take Alex. You’re friends with Justin Foley,” Jeff started.

“Which is like, whatever” Hannah laughed, shrugging her shoulders.

Jeff laughed and continued. “He says you’re a good guy. He doesn’t say that about most people. He doesn’t!”

“That’s cause he’s a dick.” I added and everyone laughed.

My stomach hurt at this point from laughing so hard, along with the heightened sense of awareness that I couldn’t contain myself from ripping Jeff’s clothes off much longer.

Lowering my head again, my hair falling in front of our faces as I pulled Jeff in for a long slow kiss, our tongues dancing our in a fight for dominance.

“I just feel, like, tremendous positivity for everyone right now.” Hannah laughed, watching us as she hugged a pillow to her chest.

“Mm, Exactly.” I replied, unable to take my eyes off of Jeff.

“In fact, I think it’s time a few of us actually slip away for a little while.” Jeff added, standing up and helping me stand with a smirk as he slapped my ass. “Sound good?”

“Wait, no – where you going?” Clay asked,

“Totally!” Sheri laughed.

“Enjoy your night!” I called behind us as we ran up the stairs into his bedroom.

Jeff kicked the door shut behind him and he pulled me up against his body tightly, his hands running up from my thighs to my lips, pulling me in for a passionate kiss.

“You really are the best thing that’s ever happened to me.” He whispered against my lips, his hands working on lifting my shirt.

“Oh yeah?” You asked, unbuckling his belt before lifting your arms over your head so he could take your shirt off.

“Yup. We’re gonna graduate, and get married, and have lots of babies, and live happily ever after,” He said, lifting me up and walking me over to the bed, laying me on my back as he climbed in between my legs.

“I love the sound of that.” I replied, brushing his hair back as I looked up into his eyes. “Forever with you sounds like heaven to me babe.”
