Dean Ambrose – Request 6

Request: Oooohhhh I got a cute imagine ?? where finn balor or dean ambrose ( can’t decide ) child is watching the lion king when mufasa dies and starts getting ready eyed and getting sad?? Saw a vid on instagram and thought it was really cute

Seated on the couch, you held your toddler on your lap, the two of you cuddled between blankets. Dean had gotten home a few hours ago and after he showered, he plopped down on the other couch to laze around with you. It was pouring out and going to the park or even taking a drive was out of the question, so you chose to spend the day in your pajamas making your daughter watch kids’ movies that you grew up watching.

After breezing past Cinderella and Aladdin, the Lion King was next on the list. No matter how many times you watched it, you couldn’t help but get teary eyed at the scene where Scar pushes Mufasa off the cliff.

The dust cleared in the scene and Simba found him, unable to comprehend that he was dead, he just kept saying Dad, trying to wake him up.

I felt a tear on my arm and I thought it was mine but Dean turned to face us.

“Hey, hey, kiddo. Are you sad?” He asked, sitting up on his elbow a little. His voice was always softer when he spoke to our daughter.

I looked down and I saw her eyes, red and glazed with tears as well as they streamed down her face and onto my arm. She nodded her head, her pigtails bouncing with the movement.

Dean looked at you with a smitten smile before opening his arms. “Come here, come sit with daddy.”

She nodded again, wiggling out of my arms wiping her face as she scurried over to cuddle up next to Dean. With her head in his chest, she cried a little more as he rubbed her back, holding her tightly against him.

“It’s okay, princess.” He soothed, swaying softly with her. “It’s okay. It’s just a movie.”

Your eyes got watery again, this time from watching how good he was with her.

“I told you she wouldn’t be ready for this.” He said, looking back at me with a half-smile.

I laughed, wiping my own eyes as I laid back on the couch. “Come on, I’m way older than her and I’m not ready for this.”

He laughed, adjusting himself on the couch so she could lay next to him, covering her with a blanket as her eyes fixated on the TV again.

“There you go.” he smiled. “She just needed some daddy hugs is all.”
